Cam graduated with honours in December 2000 from the University of Queensland after returning from the geological sciences to study for his lifelong desire to become a vet. Cam worked for a year and half on the Gold Coast, Queensland treating mainly dogs, cats and occasionally a kangaroo. He came to the UK for a working holiday and has stayed ever since.
After working in Kent for 18 months he moved north…Cam and his partner Roz, a vet nurse, Vooky, the one-eyed rescue dog from Romania, Kylie the rescued cat, Shelly the rescued tortoise, and ten spoilt chooks (including rescued layers).
Cam’s interests are cardiology, medicine and ultrasound but in his spare time he likes vegetable gardening, outdoor water sports, surfing and snorkelling.
